Nike designer Tinker Hatfield is a genius, there’s no denying it, and this sneaker combines elements from two of his most iconic sneakers: The Air Max 1 and the Air Huarache. A harmonious mash-up, it takes the base from the original Air Max model and sprinkles in Air Huarache-inspired pieces – most notably the iconic Purple Punch colourway. More subtle, but obvious to those in the know, is the neoprene hits, additional lace eyelets, plastic Swoosh branding and revised square tongue tab.
