The road here is hard off-road.
The road here is hard off-road. The town itself is small, you can get around in an hour. There are places to eat. Grocery stores are tiny, the choice is minimal, and prices are high. A small selection of hotels and very expensive. But there is incredible natural beauty here! And if you are interested in the Marble Caves, then you will have to put up with some inconvenience.

This is the place to see the marble caves and we were not disappointed. This is a small tourist oriented place on the way to Patagonia. Very attractive, lots of camping and hostel accommodations. Has a gas station and supermarket that had a surprisingly diverse amount of food for reasonable prices. Great base to explore the area.

Tour providers for the marble tours and harbor are right across the street. Check-out is at 11.00 so if you take the first tour in the morning you can check-out after the trip. Large apartment with a living room and a bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need.

The second night we stayed in a 1-bedroom unit but it was still very spacious and comfortable.
