Excellent
The second book in the Kate Marshall series does not disappoint. Full of intrigue and dark secrets it is a real page turner. Thoroughly enjoyable - I am looking forward to book three.

What a listen
Wow .. I wasn’t sure how it would be after Nine Elms , but this again was a fantastic book .. Narrator does a wonderful job especially with the accents .. highly recommend

Loved it
Well God Damn that was good! I love this series! The characters are brilliant, and I feel a genuine warmth towards the main two.
It’s not over the top gore but pretty detailed to the point I find myself wincing in the car on the drive to/from work.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the relationships are going to develop with Kate and Jake with Peter.
To me, the series so far is fresh and exciting and I cannot wait for the next instalment. And the narrator is absolutely excellent, her accents are on point!

dissapointed
I love this author and was so looking forward to this new book. Sadly the narration for me was dire. No personality at all what dragged the book down. Maybe I would have thought better of the story had there been even a tiny bit of umph in the narration. I hope the next offering from this talented author will be availabe with a new reader 🤞
