Not sure why this hotel has only a 2 star rating! For me it was definitely a 3.5+. Very close to town & Sapa station is only a 5 min walk away to get to Fansipan cable car. The hotel has it's own bar & the view from the rooftop is incredible. The breakfast buffet was superb. The owner is very friendly

Excellent views from the balcony room of the surrounding mountainous scenery. The room was also large, clean and well maintained with a nice large bed. Breakfast of a morning was, albeit basic, very tasty and the owners were always present in the lobby to cook breakfast and attend to any needs. Also helped arrange scooter hire which is useful in Sapa as otherwise it’s a lot of walking from the town to trek trails etc.

    Fansipan summit is a breath taking view from suspension cable cab. Buy the tickets one way to the summit, then walking down to visit all the pagodas. Bring along a warm coat, ears cover because the summit weather is unpredictable. The day we visited Fansipan, lowland temperature was 19 degree Celsius with clear sky and fully sunny, by the time we reached the summit around 11am. the temperature was dropped down to 2 degree Celsius with high wind and partial cloudy. Most Sapa villages have unpaved trail, be sure to purchase knee high waterproof boots at the Sapa main market if you plan to visit those villages during rainy season. Bring small Vietnamese currency such as 1000VND or 2000VND if you want to give out to the little kids beggar or for a chance to take a picture with them

    Sapa is a bit overhyped thanks to Social Media.

    Sapa is a bit overhyped thanks to Social Media. I would stay 4 days in total. Two for hiking, once north, once south (or taking motorbike tours), one for a traditional ethnic workshop like batik or embroidery and one to go up Fansipan, the highest mountain in Indochina. Sapa is a small city that has become increasingly touristic and you will encounter several places that operate with fake google ratings.

    Stunning views. Lots of lovely restaurants. We used Trekking Tour Sapa for some walking trips and they were fantastic. Mount Fansipane is worth a visit. Overall the town itself is very touristy and Street vendors are plentiful.

    It was disappointed to know that the cable to Fanispan...

    It was disappointed to know that the cable to Fanispan mountain was closed for maintenance only 2 days before our arrival. We had no choice but to proceed to Sa Pa. Nevertheless, we had a good time in Sa Pa as we enjoyed the weather, though a little wet as it was raining most of the time.

    Sapa has stunning views , amazing trekking and its a great stop for a trip to the north of vietnam. It can feel a bit touristy, but for a good reason and definitely is worth a return trip in a different season

    Sapa is a great place to visit if you like the highland/ mountain landscape. Most of the time covered in mist and fog, rather cool compared to the rest of Vietnam, it is a good place to visit if you want to explore the rice fields, visit Fansipan "The roof of Indochina", and the local village experience. If you decide to visit, do expect to find a rather touristic place.

    Upon arrival we got a free upgrade to the Honey Moon suite. The room was spacious and very clean, with all the comforts needed. The staff is really helpfull when you want to do a trekking tour or can help you with ordering a taxi for a fixed fee which drives you around the surroundings. Laundry is cheap and they have it ready in the beginning of the next morning, even if you drop it off in the evening. One of the best hotels we visited in Vietnam, especially due to the care of the staff!

    This is probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, and at great value too! The architecture and design are beautiful and it's perched on top of a hill overlooking Sapa. The breakfast buffet is out of this world, gym and pool are fantastic, and the staff are absolutely friendly. The rooms themselves are clean, modern, and we'll decorated. This place is absolutely impressive and I would recommend a stay here for several nights!

    The hotel is three minutes from the center, but at the same time it is quiet. The rooms are clean, clean towels and clean sheets. A pleasant balcony. The room has a kettle with tea and coffee and water at no extra charge. The hotel staff is especially nice, very kind and nice.     The view from our balcony was superb. We spent hours looking at the mountains, clouds and traffic down below. The breakfast was the best we had in Vietnam. The food choices were endless and so fresh. Such a wide range of hot dishes, salads, sushi, fresh bread, yoghurt and even panacotta. The bed was a little hard for my taste but perfect for my husband. It was our favourite hotel from our trip.
