Care instructions

Please keep in mind :
- Hold it in dry clean place.
- It is not protected from water. White patches could appear in areas which were sprinkled with water. So, absorbing water wax has the ability to become whitened. However, this partial defect is quite easy to remove - at any time after the consecration of icon is enough to put on a "whitened" areas any oil (linseed, olive) preferably with a brush, and to wipe with a soft cloth after 15-20 min.
- The carvings have very accurate details (faces of people, corners, frame ornaments) that could be damaged from hits or fall from height.
- If you wish to refresh the icon’s look you can cover it with any oil as it is describe above.
When will I receive my order? (HANDLING&SHIPPING time)
Manufacturing of your order usually takes 2 weeks.
Delivery time by regular mail:
- USA: 8-20 business days;
- Europe: 7-20 business days;
- Canada: 3-6 weeks;
- United Kingdom – 7-14 business days
- Asia Pacific: 2-6 weeks
- Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 3-8 weeks
This timeframes are provided by postal service (and my experience) but I cannot guarantee that your package will be delivered at this time. And I’m not able to know whether it will arrive faster or with delays. Please note that it may take a little bit longer before Christmas and other holydays, due to force-majeure circumstances or a natural disasters.
If you wish to expedite shipping to be sure it will be delivered on time you can choose express shipping.
Do you provide EXPRESS SHIPPING?
Yes, you can speed up shipping of your order by UPS parcel currier for extra charge. Your package will be delivered in 3-5 business days depending on your location.
I need my order URGENT , what should I do?
If you wish to receive your order urgent please write us your deadlines before making your order . Depending on our schedule and item’s size we can make and ship it in 2-5 days. You can also get express shipping described above for extra charge.
I have no PAYPAL, can I pay with my CREDIT CARD?
We accept PayPal payments only. But You may be able to pay with a card via PayPal without a PayPal account. Here’s how:
Click Check out with PayPal and you’ll be redirected to PayPal. Instead of choosing to pay with your PayPal account, select Pay with Debit or Credit Card.
You'll be prompted to fill in your billing and credit card information.
Enter your email address so PayPal can send you a receipt.
Click Continue to return to Etsy. Your payment isn't sent until you click Submit order on Etsy.
PayPal places restrictions on how often you can use their Guest Checkout feature. If you run into any trouble or have any questions about PayPal's Guest Checkout, please contact PayPal directly.
Custom and personalized orders
You can combine ornaments and images from our shop – change framing, coloring and size. And if you need some icon or carving that you do not see in the shop please send us its image and we will write you if we can create it on wood. It is possible only if we have similar sketch already. We have a lot of carvings that are not still represented in our shop. Creating of quite new or complicated design costs 100$. This doesn't unclude manufacturing and shipping - only the sketch.
