We booked 3 nights first and got a room with a kingsize bed but unfortunately without a balcony. :( We tried to change but the hotel was fully booked. It was a newly renovated room (the whole building was very modern). The room was equipped with a small fridge and water-boiler and cups. This was great! Fresh toilet and shower. The beach was just across the road. The breakfast was marvelous! A good variation of different choices from different bread, egg & bacon, vegetables, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh cakes, juice, coffee / tea. We enjoyed our stay so we extended our stay for another 2 nights. :) Nice and serviceminded staff.

Hotel Vicko is located in Starigrad Paklenica, 12 km from the Rovanjska exit of the A1 highway and 45 km from the historic town of Zadar. The hotel itself is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach, the center and only 2 km from the entrance to the National park Paklenica. The hotel has 20 rooms in the main building and 4 apartments in the auxiliary building. The hotel has a restaurant that serves a traditional Croatian breakfast with dishes from Zagorje, Istria, Dalmatia and Slavonia. Also, within the building, there is a supervised parking place for guests, as well as a covered parking place for motorcyclists. Guests can also, depending on availability, use towels and beach chairs. A large garden within the hotel is available for guests to sunbathe, relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.2 for a two-person trip.
