Frequently asked questions

Ive just used my cloth pads, now what do i do?

There are two options.
1. You can leave all your cloth pads in a bucket without water until you have finished your cycle. Rinse them and soak, washing and getting most of the blood from them. Then pop them in a normal wash.
2. Gently hand wash each pad after use.

Washing pads
My recommendations for extending the life time of your pad
* Use a mild detergent. Better for you, Better for the earth.
* Washing and soaking straight after use can reduce staining.
* avoid using harsh chemicals such as bleaches and soaking solutions.
* I do not reccomend using and advise to avoid using the dryer. Instead choose a cheaper option like drying on the line in the lovely fresh air.

Do you make Custom pads?

Yes, from time to time and based on the nature of what you want, and how much time i have. I do take custom orders.
For example - i can sew any pad without PUL Waterproofing added.
- If i have a particular fabric you want in another style.
- Slight changes in sizing.

Zero Waste Cutlery Kits

The Zero Waste Cutlery kits come with the option of buying sustainable bamboo utensils and a stainless steel straw and brush cleaner. They are super light weight and fit into you bag so well you won't even feel them in there. Carefully designed with the fold over flap so the utensils will not fall out even when they are rolled up. The fabric kit is made from 100% cotton.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I believe very strongly in avoiding the use of plastic or anything that is harmful to the environment. When i source my materials and utensils i always specify that they come with minimal packaging and no plastic if possible. This i how i live my life. Our own home is making steps towards zero waste. So this is reflected in how i run my business. I send every package in recycled paper and sent in a recycled paper envelope. Even the zero waste kits come in recycled paper padded bag. Yes i care about your packages and yes i care about the my impact on the environment. You will only receive your item. no pamphlets or invoices or annoying little business cards. Everything i personally do is about leaving minimal footprint.
