My felted birds are inspired by the birds feeding and flying outside my home studio windows. I attract them to my yard with feeders, water, and native plants for food, shelter, and nesting places. While the birds enjoy this habitat, I sketch their poses and note their behaviors to inform my wool sculptures. It's a symbiotic relationship.
