A unique dry orange wine bursting with peach, violet and strawberry aromas over a rich and rounded palate.
Orange wines were one of the earliest styles of wine, made by letting the crushed white grapes macerate with their juice before fermentation. The style has seen a revival across Central Europe recently. This extraordinary example was made by Tomislav Bolfan in northern Croatia using organically grown Pinot Gris grapes, which are known locally as Pinot Crni. Artisanal winemaking techniques then produce this complex wine in an amber rose colour.
