Black Blending Wand 28ml

I brought this for a friend who needs to cover a few grey hairs. I hope she likes it. I brought this because I use the other products by Josh Woods, including the root cover, which I have found to be excellent quality and easy to use. My hairdresser tells me Josh Wood is well recognised for quality so pleased all round. Some of these root products can cost up to £30 so I think this is very good value.

Unfortunately I bought two of these - my skin on my parting turns red - not through irritation it is coloured red. The look is dreadful.

Bought this after running out of my L'Oreal Professionnel Hair Touch Up. It takes a ridiculous amount of the product to get any coverage at all, by which time you'll have it all over your hands, scalp and probably the floor. Definitely one to avoid.

Not having had much joy with sprays I thought this would be easier to use and it is. However it still isn't great and I found I had to blot a lot of the 'paint' off onto a tissue before applying to my hair. My hair is dark brown but has lighter streaks in it (colour fade) and with such a block colour as this it did look a bit obvious that I had touched up the roots.

Used this for the first time went on great till it changed my grey hair orange it did not rinse out quickly my hair dresser had to put a condition on my hair to strip the colour out would not recommend the black at all it would of been cheaper and better to use a hair colour rather then this very disappointed

I bought this in black although I have dark brown hair but having read the reviews took other users advice which I am glad I did. At first I was not very impressed as I found it tricky to apply and the brush kept falling off which was very annoying, however I have started applying the wand to damp hair and am really pleased with the results and it is much easier to apply. When used on dry hair I thought it made my clean hair look greasy. Really pleased with product now as it makes waiting for next hair appointment more bearable!

Bought on recommendation, used on front of hair where grey is worse. It went Orange!!! ( dark brown stick purchased). Not impressed. I noticed that it came off onto my hands when I ran hand through my hair once it was dried. So word to the wise, if you use need to wash it off before going to bed unless you want it to come off on your bedding. Took it back and got refund This is the first time I have ever left a review thats how strongly I feel about it.

I had the dark brown wand at first, it was overly red and stained my forehead red once applied. The black is much better colour coverage. It still stains the skin if not applied carefully. It does work and I will try different techniques of application. Is ideal between having roots done.
