Years ago when we traveled down and back to Florida or Myrtle beach we would stay at a sleep Inn. They were very nice but not this time.
The bed was uncomfortable and there is no elevator and we had to walk up the stairs with a suitcase. My husband is 80 years old!

I booked this property for Fredericksburg, Virginia, however I meant to book for Fredericksburg, Texas. I got to the hotel in Texas and they informed me of my mistake. I called and spoke to somebody at the Virginia location and they were going to try to issue me a refund. They charged me 279. and I don’t see the other portion of the fees that I have paid.

I LOVE Fredericksburg. I love history and there is so much history here. I wish I had more time to see everything. There is a lot of shopping for those who like shopping, and just so much to do. This is a great town and I will be returning. I do wish they had more activities and stores that allowed dogs though.

The location and customer service was good.
The location and customer service was good. I enjoyed the fire pit downstairs. It allowed us to mingle with other guests and make new acquaintances. The rooms were a nice size but there was dog hair in our room as this is a pet friendly facility. It was not an astronomical amount but still visible to my companion while we were there.

A beautiful city which was exceptionally clean throughout, holding a lot of charm and history. They have done a tremendous job in keeping the history alive and available for tourists to get a taste of what it was like and the horror of the Civil War.
There were so many restaurants and shopping centers out from the historical district.

Though I was primarily visiting to meet friends and get on the AutoTrain the next day, we did tour downtown Fredericksburg and found it a quaint town with many nice shops and old but well maintained historical buildings. Free parking was easy to find. The town was clean and appeared to be very safe.

Fredericksburg is amazing place if you love history and small town field. The history and shops are super fun to go in and out of as you stroll down the main street of downtown Fredericksburg. If you need bigger better shopping or want to do outlet shopping there are tons of stores, not too far from the downtown area. I would highly recommend Fredericksburg anyone who’s just looking for a nice place to take a walk or go on a historic tour

The place was easy to find but the parking was horrible.
The place was easy to find but the parking was horrible. Not enough parking in the front of building
The beds were comfortable but definitely not enough blankets to thin almost like sheets material
We did like the breakfast was very good and plentiful
The bathtub was quite slippery and definitely needs slip cards in it especially if you are older or for children
The rooms were clean...the staff was very friendly and helpful...I was with a group of 5 other people and our rooms were not ready when we checked in so Jen the Manager accommodated us with an upgrade to premium rooms for all of us and we were able to get rooms beside each other which was really great...restaurants and shopping malls were close by and to top it off our event was only 4 miles from the hotel...everyone was very pleased with everything...thank u Red Rood Inn in Fredericksburg for a memorable stay...
Checking in took 1 minute, the employee was friendly and efficient. Everything was clean and even better - it smelled clean. Bed was super comfortable, nice duvet and lots of pillows of different firmness. Shower had lots of pressure. This hotel has THE BEST washbasin tap - it's tall, so I could even wash my hair in the washbasin thanks to that.
There could have been more choices at breakfast, but the cheese omelette was fine. I do like the coffee and they refilled as soon as it ran out.
Nothing it was like a Crack hotel. They come in and sprayed for bugs while we was trying to rest in the middle of the day. Just walked right into are room .
The place is dirty and a dump
The man at the front desk is very rude.
They require a deposit and would not return mine. He said someone smoked in the room.
Neither myself or my cousin smoke at all.

Location was perfect for us to explore Fredericksburg and even a day trip to Washington DC.
The house was immaculate throughout and the host very responsive and helpful.
We would definitely book this property again!
This was a perfect last minute work reservation, and the hotel was very accommodating. I have stayed in multiple Home2Suites, and you know ahead what to expect. Also get the Hilton points.
