♥ The pattern has step-by-step instructions and plenty of pictures which make it very easy to follow even for beginners with basic sewing skills. It includes sketches of the stitches used (basic stitches like blanket stitch and backstitch and basic embroidery stitches like lazy daisy stitch and French knots), links to useful websites and a list of materials and tools required, which are mainly felt, stuffing, threads, needles and scissors.

♥ The ornament is completely hand sewn, no machine needed

♥ Extras needed for this project: two rounded black glass beads (4 mm), one tiny red button (1 cm), gingham ribbon, pearl cotton thread (or 6-strand embroidery thread / floss)

A finished robin measures approx. 13 x 12 cm (5.1" x 4.7") at its widest points.

♥ The pattern consists of two PDF files in A4 format, one with the instructions and one with the templates. The templates are ready for print, no need to resize or enlarge them.
