"Please don't do cocaine in the bathroom" cross stitch sampler, completed and framed in 5x7 secondhand frame (NOT the exact frame pictured, and no frame at all outside the U.S.)

---The Deets---

This sampler will be stitched on white or off-white Aida cloth to fit in a 5x7 secondhand frame. The text is usually in red, and the border is little blue flowers and a green vine on top and bottom.

*FRAME: This stitch will come framed (no glass) in a 5x7 straight-from-the-Goodwill secondhand frame, or if you prefer, mounted on a self-stick mounting board ready to frame. (Outside the U.S., the stitch will arrive mounted without a frame, since shipping costs would be prohibitively expensive for a framed item.)

The frames pictured are example of Goodwill frames -- convo me if you'd like to request a particular color and I'll look through my collection and attempt to match your preference! (The frame shown with the example in the photo is not available and you will not be getting that one.)

*CUSTOMIZE: This stitch usually doesn't have any customizations available, but if you'd like a different color palette, let me know and I'll do what I can to accommodate your wishes. In general I also do take all kinds of special orders and love doing 'em, so convo me if you're looking to have some other stitch work done. : D

*SHIP: This stitch will ship within the U.S. via USPS Priority Mail, or international first class. It will typically be shipped within about 3 weeks unless a delay is noted in this listing (above), my shop policies, announcements or banner, or you get a message from me discussing a delay.

I love to do custom work during the non-holiday months! I try to work on one custom project at a time so that I can give each project my full customizing attention; as a result, a significant lead time on deadlines for receiving your custom order is very much appreciated.

If possible, try to contact me at least a month in advance of a deadline for receiving a 5x7 custom cross stitch. (That said, if you're in a pinch and you know I'm the stitcher for the job, convo me anyway! If I happen to be in between custom orders, I can often get things out in a much shorter time, and like I said, I love working with customers on personalized stitchery.)

Most of my small finished cross stitches have an option for gift wrapping.

If you don't see a drop-down list as you purchase a small hooped or framed cross stitch (smaller than 4x6), but you would like your item to be wrapped in plain paper (with a small notecard for your message included), request gift wrap as you check out in the "notes to seller"!

If you're having your gift sent directly to the recipient, please double-check the address it's going to before you finish checking out, and let me know what you'd like me to write in the notecard to your recipient! :)

Etsy has a "this is a gift!" option that helps you tell me not to include a receipt -- I don't anyway! -- but I do not gift-wrap large items or kits.

I also offer a selection of finished cross stitch available for wholesale or certain consignment situations, for stores that feel my work would be a good fit. I believe in using secondhand frames because it's eco-friendly, supports my local thrift shops, and allows me to frame your items, if you'd like that, at very low cost.

Because they are unique and unapproved by you, I don't pass on the cost of the secondhand frames to you, except for the cost of shipping (usually about a $2 difference).

When you order an item from me, rest assured that you are only paying for the stitchwork, and you may treat the frame as a "suggestion" -- if you don't like it, give the frame away! Your 4x6 or larger cross stitch will come with a mounting board that will allow you to easily pop it out of the "suggested" frame I've sent it in and into any same-sized frame of your choice.

I can't send you a photo of your options for secondhand frames; I have too many frames and a too quickly rotating stock for that. However, you're welcome to let me know your preferences in color and material (i.e. wood, metal, plastic) and I'll do what I can to accommodate your wishes.

If you receive your stitchwork and you HATE the frame I chose from my cache of secondhand frames, never fear! The stitching for a 4x6 or larger frame will be mounted on a board that you can simply pop out of the secondhand frame you received, and pop INto a frame you choose from a local store, another Etsy seller, or anywhere you find perfect frames.

Because the secondhand frames I send are free, I cannot offer replacements or frame-related refunds.

Nope! What I sell are patterns and kits for original counted cross stitch designs, which means you'll be using a printed pattern (or your computer screen if you prefer -- being able to zoom in on a detail can be very helpful!), almost the way you would use a map to navigate in a city.
