I made it myself!

I am a lover of all things crafty. I have dabbled in just about every creative outlet imaginable. But what I love, love, love, is making something that someone loves.

My family is full of crafty people: musicians, woodworkers, potters, illustrators, painters, Mr. (and Mrs.) Fix Its! I grew up watching and paining along with Bob Ross and using power tools on my own by the time I was 9. Deeply ingrained inside of me is the belief that I can do or make anything myself.

My Papaw loves to tell the story of taking my sister to get her first Cabbage Patch Kid at Babyland General. I was too young to make the trip and when they got back everyone was oohing an aahing over her new baby and it's Birth Certificate. He said I left the room and came back with a scribbled on piece of paper pinned to my old baby's shirt - I had made my baby his very own Birth Certificate!

Not very much has changed for me over the years! I like to build my own furniture, make my own invitations and party decorations. I love to take something old & maybe "less loved" and make it into something new and beautiful.
