Hi! My name is Anna. Welcome to my shop.

I love to create and be creative. Knitting and crocheting allows me to do that. I have been knitting and crocheting since I was in high school. Buying new yarn thrills me. Starting a new project is just as exciting for me now as it was then.

I also enjoy creating music. I have a degree in piano performance and enjoy using that training to play for the people that I love.

Being a stay-at-home-mom is the best job I've ever had, and I'm so thankful I am able to do it. But sometimes it can be an isolating job. Sometimes it's frustrating to have the scope of my world be so small. Middle West Knitting Co. was born out of a desire to have something to show for myself and my time. I knit while my baby naps. I get excited about starting a new project, and take great satisfaction in a finished product. It is a creative outlet and a place for goal setting. Here I can put passion into practice.

Everything in my shop is handmade by me, mostly during my baby's nap time. All patterns are my original designs. Each piece is unique and made with great care.
