Inspired by the cheeky sheep on our nearby Pen Y Fan mountain, this pattern is suitable for knitters with a little experience. The instructions teach you how to knit texture step-by-step and use three different types of stitch. Sheep are knitted flat on straight knitting needles; there is no working in the round.

To make this toy, you will need: a ball of any chunky weight yarn (Hayfield Bonus Chunky is perfect), 4mm knitting needles, darning needle, and toy stuffing.
Sheep measures approximately 23cm x 14cm when knitted up.
