The main material in my jewelry is Zamak, with a gold or silver plated treatment that offer higher quality to each piece. Zamak, is a family of alloys with a base metal of zinc and alloying elements of aluminum, magnesium and copper.

Please, keep in mind that Zamak jewelry, as any other fashion jewelry, tarnishes when exposed to moisture, oils, salts and acids. To avoid tarnish and keep your jewelry pieces looking like new, follow the "3 steps care instructions" described below.

1. REMOVE your jewelry when putting on lotion, make up, perfume or hairspray; when swimming, showering, exercising, or when experiencing extreme weather. Dry your hands before handling jewelry.

2. CLEAN it gently with a soft, dry cloth, as soon as you remove it. The goal is to remove any oils, salts and acid contaminants and to dry the piece. Cleaning thoroughly may also remove some gold or silver plate from the piece. So, please make it nice and easy.

3. STORE each piece separately in its case or cloth bag to avoid scratching. Keep them "air-tight" in your jewelry box with a moisture-absorbing baggy, like the small silica packets that typically come with suitcases and shoes.

Feel free to put your favorite essential oil on the lava stones or wood beads. Both are porous material and retains heat for a long time. In contact with the body, the beads transmit the oil properties. This can be beneficial to the body, strengthens the immune system, and relieves stress.

To infuse your bracelet simply add 1-2 drops of your favorite essential oil between your fingers before rubbing onto beads. Beads will soak up oil while diffusing the scent and will provide you with aromatherapy benefits for up to 4 days.
