Announcement    Sewing Patterns and Handcrafted Cork Accessories for the Eco-Conscious Consumer

{ Peta Approved Vegan }

I strive to bring fresh designs while keeping my foot print minimal by utilizing sustainable materials.

That includes the textiles I create with as well as the way I package and ship my creations. The cork I create with is harvested in Portugal. It is the bark of the Quercus Suber tree and is shaved every 9 -12 years. The tree remains unharmed during harvesting, and continues to produce cork for its lifetime, which can be up to 200 years. This vegan alternative to leather is water & stain resistant, anti-microbial, and a renewable/sustainable resource!

A main goal of mine is to patronize other small businesses in the US that practice fair trade guidelines and pay livable wages. Super plus if they are run by women, and/or employ those of us who are less fortunate and need a leg up.

Every single piece is cut, sewn, photographed, packaged, and shipped by me. I ensure top quality of all of my pieces and have a high standard to ensure your happiness with your purchase.
