Toddler Wash Mitt Crochet Pattern
If your child struggles to manage an adult-sized washcloth, if they tend to leave you with large puddles on the bathroom floor, or if wash-time is generally a bit of a struggle, then this cute wash bear's here to help.
This is a simple-to-crochet wash mitt, sized to fit a toddler's hand. The addition of a friendly face makes it attractive to your child and easier to banish wash-time grumps.
Because it is small, it is easy for a child to manipulate in order to wash themselves, giving them a great sense of independence. Plus it doesn't hold as much water as a normal-sized washcloth, sponge or mitt, so you will probably end up with less water on the bathroom floor!
A design tried and tested by my own two-year-olds, and by parents and toddlers in my village. Some parents also like to keep one in the kitchen for after-meal clean-ups.
Also great to make as a gift for a new baby.

★ ---How Easy is this Pattern? --- ★
🟩 This pattern is very easy to approach for a beginner. It's a great project for practicing working in the round. The pattern includes lots of colour pictures, handy tips and advice on choosing an appropriate yarn.
All my patterns come with my full support if you have any questions.
Important features of my crochet patterns:
My crochet patterns include BOTH a detailed 'tutorial-style' set of instructions with colour photos, AND a succinct unillustrated pattern using standard crochet conventions.
I have developed this style because I find I like to see a lot of detail the first time I work a pattern, but if I then work the same piece again, I don't need the pictures, etc, and indeed they can get in the way when I just want a quick reminder of what I'm doing. The PDF is also structured so that the succinct version, with an area for your own notes, is on a single page, making it easy to just take one sheet of paper with you if you have printed it out for quick reference on the move.
