next gen dragonball z ... with a hint of room for improvement

If you're a die hard dragonball z fan and you're looking for the most immersive dragonball z game that has been created then this is it!! You start off with a small intro by shenron where you are asked to create your character - depending on what type of character you choose depends on your starting abilities which means your initial choice can help determine what your strengths and weaknesses are from the start. When you appear in the city you are met by trunks who fills in the details of the story and gives you a mini tutorial of the game. This is as far as i will go in relation to the game due to spoilers and also the need to describe the gameplay. There is so much you can do on this game it is ridiculous! You can purchase new skills, upgrade your character using attribute points, recruit players to your team ... the list is endless! The biggest downside is the online play, there isnt really an in-depth explanation as to how to set up for online play and the servers are problematic to say the least ... if you are looking for a true mmorpg then Destiny is the way to go as the online play for dragonball z is a very big step behind this. However when you consider the work that has been put in around your own independant gameplay experience then it is easily forgivable. I would give this game 4/5 based on the single player mode, when you play each level you feel as if the game is becoming harder and harder which makes the game fun and infuriating at the same time - the mix is spot on which means i will be picking up the controller again and again until i complete the game!
