Following the introduction of THE SPAMP, SpampMan received a lot of comments generally praising, but wouldn't it be nice if...

1 It would be cool if it had a speaker!

2 Can you make the distortion a bit more, well, distorted?

3 Can you make the headphone socket a 1/4 inch jack so I can use my pro headphones?

4 Can you give it a power socket so I don't have to use batteries?

5 Can I have a tone control?

6 Can it make me sound like Hendrix / Clapton / Page / Slash?

SpampMan disappeared into the Spamp Cave until, finally, THE SPAMP+ was revealed.

The SPAMP+ fulfils the first 5, but number 6 is on you!

How loud is THE SPAMP+ ?
It's not a stack of Marshalls but it's plenty loud enough to annoy SpampMan's mom. A whole, rippling 2W rms of meaty goodness. Any more and the battery would croak after 10 mins. THE SPAMP+ was designed for the best sound, not the loudest noise.

Like THE SPAMP, THE SPAMP+ features a JFET input stage.

In addition to The SPAMP's Spice and Heat controls, The SPAMP+ now has Taste, an effective swept tone control for more creative control.

Fried and Grilled do the same, but more!

The 1/4 inch headphone socket is stereo so you can hear the line source that you are playing along with in stereo - SpampMan prefers it this way. Do not plug a mono guitar lead into this socket! When headphones (or the supplied adapter) are plugged in, it disables the power amplifier to save power.

The Spamp+ is supplied with a 1/4 inch to 3.5mm stereo adapter for those of us that don't use pro headphones, and a 3.5mm stereo male to male lead for your mp3 player / iPhone or whatever practice source you use.

Sorry but the SPAMP does not come with batteries because of postage restrictions. I know that many goods do ship with batteries, but the official word from the Royal Mail is that the SPAMP must be battery-less in transit.
If you want to get a battery in anticipation, it is a PP3 9V, also known as MN1604 or 6LR61. I recommend alkaline batteries.

UK postage is 1st Class Signed For. This is generally next day but it is not guaranteed. If you want a guaranteed delivery, I can offer Special Delivery - please contact me at the Spamp Cave.
International postage is Tracked and / or Signed For. Generally this delivers anywhere in the World within 2 weeks, but it is not guaranteed. I've never had a Spamp get completely lost but sometimes they do go astray and turn up late, especially around Christmas. If you need a Spamp by a particular date, please order in plenty of time.

Every time I have done a favour and arranged expedited delivery it has gone wrong and wound up disappointing the customer or left me out of pocket - sometimes both.
Please note that I will not under any circumstances facilitate expedited delivery through UPS, FedEx, DHL or any other courier. It just ain't worth it.
Updated 3 Apr 2023: I was persuaded to break my rule and it has left me out of pocket again. Let me repeat here and forever: I will not facilitate expedited delivery.

Sadly, Spamps are no longer available for sale in The European Union. The burden of additional administration required to ship products to the EU is too onerous for my spare time enterprise. I'm really sorry to have to do this but, for now, the EU is a Spamp free zone. I hope to reverse this decision sometime in the future.
