If you would like to paint your 17.5” tiles and save the grout lines- you need a custom 17.5” stencil. If you don't want to keep grout lines, and you will put the base color both on tiles and grout lines, you can choose any size of the stencil.

I felt the pattern was too busy even though I would have used it on a small area. Nothing wrong with the stencil, I just ordered the wrong one. The return process was not a problem.
