Summary
The third thrilling book in the stunning Predator Cities series!
The mighty engines of Anchorage have been rusted and dead for years. The derelict city no longer roams the Ice Wastes, but has settled on the edge of the land that was once America. Tom Natsworthy and Hester Shaw are happy in the safety of a static settlement, but their daughter, Wren, is desperate for adventure. When a dangerously charming submarine pirate offers her a chance to escape, Wren doesn't think twice about leaving her home and her parents behind. But the pirate wants something in return - Wren must steal the mysterious Tin Book. To do so will ignite a conflict that could tear the whole world apart.

Fantastic
Each book builds on the last, and makes you crave for the next. Simply stunning.

Another Mortal adventure
What did you like most about Infernal Devices?
This book picks up the story of the characters from Predators Gold fifteen years later. The story moves along at quite a pace, linking and interweaving characters from the past.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Wren is the new central character, Tom and Hester's daughter, who is whisked away in a limpet submarine to the strange, bohemian city of Brighton. Here characters new and old come together for a thrilling ending.
Which character – as performed by Barnaby Edwards – was your favourite?
Great vocalisation of all the characters, but Cynthia Twite is probably my favourite.

Great Story, with an even better Performance!
I'm sad that these books seem so short, possibly would be better if the whole series was made one MASSIVE audiobook and could be played back to back. Otherwise, once again, a cracking listen. Barnaby Edwards is a great reader, emotive and imaginative. The jump forward in time from the first two books is a great story device and only increases the wide world of the mortal engines series.

Fantastic 3rd book in series
I really enjoyed this book. Very exciting fast paced story. I have to read something else in order to savour the last book in the series.

Great books read brilliantly.
Although classed as teen fiction I have long thought this does disservice to the work of Philip Reeve which to me demonstrates Tolkien levels of imagination and depth but with a lighter heart.

Still holds up as an adult
I first read the series aged 10 or so and have been waiting for the audiobook version to come out for years. It does not disappoint.
